Discussion: BCUS will retain a presence at conference in Victoria.
Michner program suspended for a year while under review.

Nomination: no nominations or expressions of interest have been received despite executive canvassing.

Business Arising:
T Allen Memorial Award: S Austin and V Lessoway visited Prof Milner at SFU to present the TAM award . He was very thankful and excited to be moving in December to Montreal to head the Dept of Kinesiology and Physical Education at McGill.
Action: SJ: Letter to be posted to the website.

Election of Officers: In the absence of nominations from the floor, current executive remains in place. The 2007/8 Executive are:
President: Sandra Austin
Treasurer: Nell Venir
Member at Large: Tiffany Graham

New Business
- BCUS future: Discussion
- reduced activity this year
- in 6 months will contact all depts.
- Try for an education component to next AGM
- Dues are reduced to $15 , retroactive to 2007.
- Options for Current members:
- 1. $35 rebate for 2007, annual dues of $15
- 2. dues retained, membership paid in full to June 14, 2011 ( 20% savings)

- CSDMS Educational Award: Cathy Fix will be nominated by BCUS
Action: SJ to review with Cathy
- CSDMS Conference, Victoria 08: as discussed in Treasurer and CSDMS report, BCUS will fully support a representative to this conference.
